A Fond Farewell to Bassist Ted Sitnik
The Ponytail James Band bids a fond farewell to founding member Ted Sitnik. Ted is moving on to greener pastures after a fantastic three year run with the band. His charm, wit, excellent musical stylings and leadership will be missed by the band. Ted plans to travel a lot more and enjoy the sweet life!
Welcome Bassist Mike Rice
The Ponytail James Band is excited to welcome bassist Mike Rice into the fold. Mike has played with many bands in the Central New York area including Canyon Creek, Ironheart, Superhero and 13 Curves. Originally from NYC, Mike’s early interest in bass guitar was influenced by Berry Oakley from the Allman Brothers, John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin and Chris Squire of Yes.
The band will be playing with Mike opening in 2022, and we are certain that he will be a great addition to the PTJ line up. Mike looks forward to meeting the members of the PTJ Army and rockin' with all of you.

PTJ supports the arts in Central New York and thanks you for supporting this great community resource.
